For those of you coloring enthusiasts, I have the funnest organization for you! Cardz for Kidz sends homemade cards to children’s hospitals, Ronald McDonald Houses all over the world, and facilities for the elderly. I even got to personally deliver some to the Ronald McDonald House in Rio de Janeiro when I was there.

My mom and I have been sending cards for a while now and recently I started sending cards for my friends and family to color and mail also. I slip them in with my Christmas card, with THEIR birthday card (sneaky, right?!) and any other occasion I can think of.

Now I can send YOU cards to color ANYTIME! I’ll mail you everything you need, including ready-to-color cards, some coloring tips and sample messages, a pre-addressed stamped envelope and more! You can REQUEST cards any time of year, as many times as you want, to your home, office, classroom, granny’s house, etc. No time limit, color at your leisure, and make some people smile!

I had a little coloring station at my most recent *adult* birthday party and it was so much fun! Cardz for Kidz is very active on social media and they typically recognize every person that sends in cards, so follow them to see your shout out! Plus I love seeing photos of the kids with their homemade cards. Such an easy thing we can do at home to give back to such a deserving community!

PS here are a few of the items I love to use when I make cards…

  • These Paper Mate Flair pens ($15) are my fav to use for writing on the inside of cards (because they don’t bleed!)
  • These Kingart Dual Tip Brush Pens ($20) are awesome for coloring – they have a brush tip and a fine tip, making them perfect for filling in all the big and small spaces (and of course they don’t bleed!)
  • This small paper cutter ($20) is great for cutting a bunch of cards at once
  • This pack of 110lb card stock paper ($15) is the just the right thickness for homemade cards if you want to print some at home
