Delsey is my absolute favorite brand of luggage (and I’ve been through QUITE A FEW). It’s super durable and the 4-wheels make it easy peasy to transport. The handles won’t break off no matter how much you abuse it, and the carry-on size fits on all plane ($140). Lots of colors to pick from.
This TravelRest ($28) is my #1 fav travel pillow (and I’ve tried QUITE A FEW). It’s easy to inflate & rolls up small for convenient storage. It can inflate to your desired consistency, so I use it on planes, in the car, on the train, in my lap, under my feet and so much more.
Coming in a close second is the JetComfy ($25) is super soft and legit feels like you’re laying on a cloud. I’ve found it works best in an aisle seat since it connects to the armrest. And the Trtl neck wrap ($30) is super popular and especially great if you’re stuck in a middle seat (personally made my neck hot, but others absolutely love it).
For getting comfortable on the plane, I recommend this natural silk face mask ($10) that’s super soft and smooth on both sides. Compression socks ($15) and keeping your feel elevated with this plane foot swing ($20) both help with feet swelling and falling asleep. Ginger chews help with nausea, and Dream Water ($10) is a popular and safe sleep aid (basically liquid melatonin). Great for long plane rides or jet lag. TSA approved!
These mini cocktail kits ($15) are the perfect way to treat yourself on a plane. Lots of fun cocktails to choose from to spice up your flight. Also makes a great gift for the traveler in your life!
Headphones are a must, and I’ve included all my faves at different price ranges- the Bose noise cancelling headphones are game changing and completely worth the splurge (this coming from a cheapo, approx $300). These COWIN noise cancelling headphones aren’t as intense but can hold their own (approx $60). These smaller Sony noise cancelling earbuds are great for sleeping on the plane, riding on the subway, etc. (approx $40).
This Mario Badescu rose spray is my absolute fav for a refreshing spray on the face after a long flight, after a nap, or really just anytime I could use a pick me up. And I often don’t wear much makeup, but this Colorscience mineral SPF 50 sunscreen brush is amazing! Was recommended by my dermatologist when I asked for a versatile sunscreen that could double as makeup. Perfect small size, no excuse not to be protected.
Best and most useful international adapter I’ve found in years is this Ceptic one ($30). It actually stays plugged in and has a plethora of outlets so you can plug in #allthethings. And a durable long (6 ft) charging cord ($15) is basic but so important. You’ll be so glad you have both of these.
I don’t know about you, but my phone drains super quickly when I’m traveling. This rechargeable charging iPhone case ($30) and power bank chargers ($15) are life savers – keep in your bag to recharge anytime you’re getting low. Also comes in a solar charger ($50)– great for outdoor use, like camping, at the beach, hiking, etc.
Also a game changer is this Skyroam Solis ($125)! It lets you create your own wireless hotspot so you don’t pay for expensive international data. You can get UNLIMITED data anywhere around the globe for just $9 per day pass and can connect up to 10 devices to it at a time. Take it on more than one trip and it pays for itself.
This Zoppen is my fav traveling wallet ($15)– an organized place for passport, different currency, credit cards, boarding pass and more. Simple but sleek. Comes in different colors and doesn’t make you look like a crazy tourist. And of course the trusty money belt ($10). Always better safe than sorry.
Let’s talk hair. This BaByliss PRO hair straightener ($30) and Hot Tools blow dryer ($40) are both top of their class, compact and have dual voltage so you can even use them overseas without them frying. Batiste dry shampoo ($10) is great when your hair needs a quick pick me up after a long flight or a few days of jet lag. A few sprays and you’re back in business.
Want to take cool pics but not into the fancy camera? Enhance your smart phone pictures with this easy-to-use lens kit ($40)! Clips right onto your phone.
Finally a portable wine opener ($10) that won’t get taken away by TSA!
Seen those photos of stranded travelers sleeping comfortably in their hammock at the airport? Or on the front porch of their dreamy beach house? Or beautiful porch with a view? Be prepared for any situation with this super sturdy and high quality hammock ($70). Also makes a great gift for your fav traveler!
My absolutely favorite winter accessory. You can dress this North Face Parka up or down. It’s SUPER WARM, like it kept me toasty in Iceland and Norway, without being big and bulky. Available in other colors too (I like the black and navy best) ($89+)
Don’t you love foreign TVs with no English channels? Not. Bring your Amazon Stick ($40) and watch your Netflix + Amazon anywhere!
